Young drivers on track during a Fermo karting school lesson

Kartodromo Dino Ferrari · Fermo, Italy

Karting school for young drivers

From the first corner to the first timed lap: a path that builds a driver.

The school

Not a lap. A journey.

Five lessons to move from instinctive driving to the real thing, for beginners and for those already keen to get serious. Each lesson adds a piece: the right racing lines, the rhythm, the lap time coming down.

Small group or private lessons with an instructor who follows your child corner by corner.

The programme

Five lessons, step by step

  1. Getting to know each other and the track

The instructor watches how your child drives, then the first theory: racing lines, how to take a corner. It ends on track, instructor in front and students in their slipstream.

  2. Driving out in front

First a refresher in the slipstream, then the roles swap: students in front, instructor behind spotting the mistakes. Corrections one by one, and the first cones go down to mark the right points.

  3. References become instinct

Focused work on the cones, then they're removed: the right line has to stay in your head even without markers on the ground.

  4. Bringing the speed

With the lines learned, the pace goes up. The clock starts: every lap has a time, every time a reason.

  5. Chasing the time

The last lesson is a challenge against yourself: shaving off tenths lap after lap, with the instructor following every pass.

Frequently asked questions

Before you enrol your child

What age can they start?

It depends on the child's height and confidence more than their age on paper. Message us how old they are and we'll tell you straight away if they're ready for the course.

Do they need karting experience?

No, you start from scratch. The first lesson is there to understand each child's starting point.

Is it dangerous?

The course is the most controlled setting there is for getting into karting: small group, instructor always on track, speed that only grows once the technique is there. Helmet and briefing before every lesson.

What should they bring?

Closed shoes and comfortable clothes. We provide the helmet and kart.

What if it rains on the day of the lesson?

The lesson gets rescheduled: the course is a journey, there's no point doing a stage badly. We'll let you know.

How do we enrol?

A message to +39 348 384 1994 or the form below, with your child's age. We'll call you back with the schedule and availability.
